Brenco's production of ethanol fuel will involve investments in and ownership of agricultural and industrial assets which will amount to approximately 1.5 million acres (600,000 hectares) of land and include the construction of 10 mills.
In its initial phase, Brenco is implementing 5 agro-industrial sites:
- Alto Taquari, in Mato Grosso;
- Água Emendada, Perolandia and Morro Vermelho in Goiás;
- Costa Rica in Mato Grosso do Sul.
These locations total over 400,000 hectares and will crush approximately 25 million tons of sugarcane per year.

Brenco will produce and harvest sugarcane on its own properties and in partnership with local producers and suppliers. Once sugarcane is harvested, it will be loaded onto and transported to Brenco's mills for inspection and weighing.
Brenco will permanently employ over 5,000 people in this first phase of operations and will, on an ongoing basis, invest in the training and development of its local workforce and, in turn, contribute to the overall socio-economic development of a vast region of Brazil's interior.
