Vinod Khosla is Brenco’s principal founding investor and a prominent venture capitalist and founder of Khosla Ventures. Khosla Ventures offers venture assistance, strategic advice and capital to entrepreneurs in both traditional venture areas like the Internet, computing, mobile, and silicon technology areas but also in clean technology areas such as bio-refineries for energy and bioplastics, solar, battery and other environmentally friendly technologies. Mr. Khosla was formerly a general partner at Kleiner Perkins, a founder of Sun Microsystems and is one the most influential ethanol advocates in the United States. He has invested in Brenco through his company VK Services, LLC. ntal, supply and security concerns and higher demand for alternative fuels as a result of high oil prices.

Tarpon All Equities Fund, LLC

Tarpon All Equities Fund, LLC is Brenco’s largest founding Brazilian investor. It is managed by Tarpon Investments, a Brazilian asset management company with over US$ 1 billion under management.
